Mahashivratri is being celebrated with great ferver as Lord Shiva devotees were seen offering prayers in temples across states to appease their favourite deity with much devotion. On this holy day, devotees observe fast and chant Om Namah Shivaya. Devotees were seen performing traditional puja by offering milk, water, bel leaves and fruits to the Shiva Linga and chant lord Shiva’s name.
